The NextStage logomark is a 5:3 Lissajous figure rendered as a variable-width calligraphic stroke. It can be used independently in small applications — favicons, monograms, watermarks, app icons — or paired with the wordmark in lockup form.

Minimum clear space equals the logo height (x) on all sides, with an extra ½x below to accommodate the descender.
The logomark should never be rendered smaller than 16px. The full lockup should never be smaller than 24px in height.

The logomark is generated from a parametric Lissajous equation with a variable-width calligraphic stroke.
| Harmonic Ratio | 5:3 (Major Sixth) |
| Equation | x = sin(3t), y = sin(5t) — Swap X↔Y |
| Phase Offset | δ = 0 · Start 25% |
| Stroke | 500 segments, variable width, round linecap |
| Width Range | 1 – 40 (at 500px canvas) |
| Curvature / Speed | 0.15 / 0.45 |
| Tip Taper | 20% smoothstep |
| Minimum Size | 16px |
The mark is a 5:3 Lissajous curve — the visual signature of the major sixth musical interval. Imperfect consonance: stable enough to feel resolved, complex enough to stay alive.
Three disciplines (strategy, design, technology) converging at harmonic ratio. Five crossings, three loops. When oscillating forces meet at the right frequency, they create patterns of extraordinary beauty.
The variable-width calligraphic stroke gives the mark a living quality — thicker where the curve moves slowly (outer loops), thinner where it moves fast (crossings). Tapered tips create graceful entry and exit, like a brushstroke that knows where it's going.
